Virtual Half-Term Art Clubs

Pathways would like to invite all aspiring artists to join our half-term art clubs!

Whatever your level, style or artistic ambitions, this is an opportunity for you to pursue your interests in art and develop your skills and portfolio further.

During each half-term (October, February, May/June) you will have the chance to:

– Learn from industry experts & professional local artists

– Develop your art skills and produce a stand-out portfolio

– Explore creative careers and the value of creative skills.

– Discover different pathways into a future in art that are on offer to you at College and University.

So you can get the most out of each art club there is a theme for each half-term but there will be a ‘foundation day’ each week to teach you new techniques relevant for all styles of art and design.

In October we explored fine art with an artist based in Manchester. Students were able to develop their drawing techniques etc. In February students focused on developing their own video concept for a local employer. The winning students are now executively producing their video!

In June we will be exploring Street Art! You will be working towards an employer challenge and will present your final piece in the last session of the art club on Saturday.
